I’ll be doing a charity ride for leukaemia and lymphoma research on August 31st, please share and support this charity ride with other people. This will be my third time doing this event and every time I do it, people on the day gives off such a good vibe. Love helping people out and doing good things, it’s all about loving life and living.
Here’s a very short edit of me in Paris, back in summer last year. Ren took his Gopro out and just started recording and got this little clip together. Haven’t done a real edit before so wanted to start a very simple one.
Been trying to ride my Koga bike but with the wind blowing like mad it’s been hard times. But today I had a chance to take out for a spin, enjoying the chilled ride into central. Love this frame need to make it more lighter on weight and have a low profile rims. What you guys think?
Looking outside now is making me miss summer so much, such a cold dull day with rain and wind all together. Riding today makes me wonder how was it like riding in shorts and tee shirt. So much layers on while riding your bike sucks, but you got to beat the elements that comes at you!
This photo was taken by Andy of me eating the best baguette ever, after a long ride and not eating a proper food, having a big ham and cheese baguette is like a five star meal. I can still remember that moment when I look at this photo, the nice cold drink eating in the shades. Then when we got to Paris for almost 5 day’s I’ve been eating nothing but baguette. I was sick of it at some point but that was the only food I can get my hands on, the worst time was at night, some places closed so early and food was hard to get, riding all day around the city and the only thing you want at night was a good hot meal. But nope sometime me and Ren (my best mate who I was with at the same hotel room) had coke, crisp and a bar of chocolate. Also I remember one night we didn’t get back till 2am because we’ve been looking around for a place to eat.
I’ve been off my bike for a week from now because my wife has given birth to our second child. Glad to say it’s a baby boy and his name is Malakai Angelo Ramirez. There’s no other feeling you get when you see your baby come out into this world. Been helping my wife settle in with our new baby boy, so that’s why you having seen me out on the road, but maybe the only time you do is when I’m getting things in central.
I’m sure everyone had an awesome summer, had some good ride’s. But now the bitter cold winter is near, don’t stop ridding just wear the right stuff it’s still awesome out there but just be careful on roads. Watch out for the slippery drains in the rain, also them puddle’s that hides the pot holes.
Have a nice day!
