Sunday Picnic

leave a comment »

We needed to take advantage of this weather today, so we got our bikes and went north to have a nice picnic. Never went to north of Lee valley national park, so we all headed in that direction. By stopping near the place to top up on our food, we kinda got carried away with food. We had way too much. We tired to eat as much as we can to make our bags lighter.
Some of the guys went to sleep right after eating, was it the heat or was it too much food?
After all that eating and laying down on the grass, we went back down south of Lee valley park towards the velo park, by taking the canal route, which was a bit of a tight squeeze for all of us, some parts wasn’t even that fun! At some point I felt I was going to fall into the water.
Along the way there we bump into mark and James from kinoko on their off road bikes.
Getting into the velo , we had to pay a visit at the road track and have a go. Think everyone had a good time riding and eating that day. Please keep your eyes open for some more rides!

Had a free time today, so I took advantaged and got on to my bike and rode somewhere. Weather was so awesome had so much fun going around London. Grabbed some lunch with some mates at Five guys in Covent Garden, then went up north to have a wonder around Emirates stadium and check out the new kit. Yes, I am an Arsenal supporter.
It’s all about having fun on your bike!

Fun In The Sun

So today me and Moses went out for a little ride. Having a family takes your free time, so today I had that free time. So I hit the London roads and to enjoy the sun. Had so much fun riding and chilling with Moses, I’ve missed riding in rush hours!

Had a little ride around Battersea park with my good friend Ren, good to see him on his bike. It’s that time of year when you catch little flys in you mouth or even in your eyes, hate that shit.

Ride For Philippines recap

with one comment

Early sunday morning me and the guy’s meet up in Leicester square to start the charity ride to Cambridge. It was a cold start but as we got going we soon warmed up. As we wiggle our way to north London trying to get out of central we kept the pace going well for all of us, making sure the leg was nice and warm. When we came off the A10 thats when it kinda went all over the place, it started to rain the route we had was getting muddy we got lost, GPS took us to a different route, there was one point we ended up in an open filed nothing but dirt and mud we was riding on. There was hill’s after hill’s then long hill’s, I didn’t remember going to Cambridge up on hill’s before? Well after a few hours trying to get on track we had three guy’s that couldn’t ride no more one had a bad knee and the other a real bad leg cramps also on top of that someone had a tubular wheel that was flat! so we got to the nearest pub and got them a cab to Cambridge. As they go off so did we with even more hill’s to ride up, as it was getting dark early we didn’t want to stop we knew we had to keep going to avoid riding in it. Everyone was riding on empty stomach and hydration was also on low we only had 6miles to go, so we did one more stop to get water and to get something in our belly. All I can remember was stopping at the red light’s and I knew we was close to the station, and as we saw the sign’s the rain came along. When I saw from a long distant the bike rack’s I knew we was almost finish. We reward ourself with a nice hot meal and a good rest in the pub!
