We have been testing the V2 prototype for the last couple of weeks now…
LockWhip™ V2 features a new black finish that protects from corrosion and a slightly wider open end 15mm wrench (it was bang on perfect, but a little too tight for some)
The quality will be 100% better on the finished tools too.
V2 price will be £25.00 (not including postage)
Available from our webshop soon!
We are expecting delivery in about 10 days time…
Mikey and Oscar organised the whole comp… they even had sushi 🙂
I have seen a few blogs posting about an old Cinelli Laser that surfaced recently… (they did build about 300)
This Laser you see above was a prototype frame, with a carbon Columbus fork.
This is the quote/scoop I got from Antonio for the Hot air piece on page 90 of Fixed-magazine #5 (free download)
“Today thanks to the rebirth of steel and thanks to people like yourselves a dream is about to be realised: the Cinelli Laser will return. But not just as a museum display but a track machine; rigid and lively, more so even than its predecessor 20 years ago. All the original protagonists are ready and motivated: Andrea Pesenti who built 300 through out the 80s, myself Antonio Colombo who thought them, Paolo Erzegovesi who engineered them and Emilvano Montorio who pulled out the tubes. New in the band will be Alessandra Cusatelli, my partner, and Cinelli design co-ordinator of the last 10 years. As always it will only be available in limited editions. The kids are alright!”
It’s been a year now and I have not heard anything… but good things come to those who wait right?!
