Stoked…

One of the bikes I built and specified for a customer at 14bikeco has made it onto the cover of this months Wallpaper.

Single speed free wheel, Dura-Ace Hollow tech cranks, Original new old stock Shimano 600 Brake levers and calipers (with gum hoods!)

The wheelset is something special… all 72 spokes are copper plated and laced to low flange Dura-Ace track hubs and Mavic open pro’s.

The first wheel set was built with Campagnolo low flange track hubs, but the axle was too short for the 6mm wide dropouts. So I switched the hubs to Dura-Ace as they have a long enough axle and in my opinion are a bit more heavy duty.

Tires are Panaracer gum wall (made by Panasonic), Nitto Drop bars, Stem and seatpost. Brooks Bar wrap and Saddle.

The staps and clips are missing for the photoshoot.

Definitely one of the most gentlemanly bikes ever built so far at 14bikeco.

Images of the build up can be seen here on our Flickr
