We put up a Uniqlo Heattech pursuit roller race a few weeks ago (November 14th). Uniqlo gave away free Heattech vouchers all night as people were sprinting on rollers to beat the fastest time, male and female took part on this rollapaluza sprit.
The event took place at Look mum no hands in old street, it was a prefect place to host this as a lot of people knew the place very well. A lot of people came down after work and got the place crowed. It was fun to see everyone there chatting away while watching people go crazy on the rollers, lot of smiles and a hell lots of cheering that night.
The fastest guy that night was Atiba the was just under 20.05 seconds, the fastest girl was Nancy with 26.6 seconds. They both won some good stuff that night, winning some FGL tee’s and hella lots of continental goodies.

Heres a video looking back on the day of the Red Hook crit Brooklyn 2014.
Upon arrival in Paris we were greeted by the team from Paris Chill Racing. A wild bunch of great guys & girls who know how to ride hard & party harder, they genuinely made our stay in Paris one to remember. These guys really are keeping the fixed gear scene in Paris alive & were the best hosts we could possibly ask for so check out their blog:
Really hope to see these guys soon, in London or Paris – in the meantime here are a few pictures from the roller racing event PCR hosted for us on our 2nd night in Paris. Big shout to Wai from Tokyo Vintage Bicycles for the picures (check them out) enjoy the photos & keep a look out for the event video…
This years 2013 Red Hook Crit will be sponsored by Rockstar games the people who bought you the ever so popular Grand Theft Auto. For myself, this is a big thing on the fixed bike world and I wish I could go and watch one race. This race will have the best of the best riders competing each other, showing their fitness and strength also street-tuned handling skills. Each riders has different back grounds skills to a messenger, track specialists or just an urban rider. The first race will be on March 30th at Brooklyn Cruise Terminal then June 8th Brooklyn Navy Yard, August 24th Barcelona, Spain, last race will be early October in Milan, Italy. Can’t wait to see the video for it!
